We valiantly tried to complete a quartet of reunions, but alas, there was one that was impossibly elusive—the Under Scoop Fire podcast. Someday we'll have to tell the story of scheduling woes, but that's another podcast. Instead, we present this pseudo-rerun. Back in November of 2015, the USF cast appeared on Nerd Lunch as a part of a crossover. And Nerd Lunch appeared on USF, too. For the first time in this feed, here is episode 147 of the Under Scoop Fire podcast with guests, the Nerd Lunch cast.

Summer Reunions 2017 continues with a show takeover! Kirk Howle, Matt Ringler and Doug Frye from the late, great Schlock Treatment podcast take over Nerd Lunch with their version of a Nerd Lunchish topic. The trio comes up with their own schlock movies in what they are dubbing "Build-A-Schlock." Summer Reunions 2017 continues next week!

It's been a while so the Nerd Lunchers decided it was time to create some Movie Menus again. With D23 in our recent history and our guest being Liz from NerdintheCity.com (who happens to be a big Disney fan) we decided to focus on Disney movies for this episode. After catching up with Liz on her first "numbered episode" appearance, we dive in and craft some great stuff. We'd tell you the line up, but half the fun is the reveal, so you'll just have to listen!

The Star Wars Panel reunites for the daunting task of discussing the two Ewok movies, "Caravan of Courage" and "Battle for Endor." Dreams about where Ewoks live were dashed, the duplicate side of Endor was created, and Burl Ives narrates it all.

Jeeg and CT welcome Mike Westfall and Will Webster back to the show for a discussion of friendships in pop culture. The nerds just scratch the surface of some all time favorite movie and TV friendships and then choose best friends for some iconic loner characters. From Stephen Root to wizarding conspiracy theories to Orko, this episode definitely goes to some weird places.

After the show, be sure to check out Will's site to learn more about his team-up with Evil Kat Comics to support No Kid Hungry.

Returning to the show after an over 100 episode hiatus is the character of Ned. N. Lurch. Ned is trying to break into "the biz" but his rich stepdad doesn't want him to. So he's hired a panel of experts whose job it is to help Ned think he's coming up with great ideas for a comic, but in actuality, they're trying to lead him astray. Listen now to them come up with the idea for the "worst comic ever"!

Jeeg and Pax welcome John Vanover back to the show for another screening of Kung Fu Theater. This time the nerds tackle a long overdue discussion of the legendary Jackie Chan centered on the first of the Three Dragons movies, Project A. Co-starring Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao, it features plenty of action, a healthy dose of comedy, an almost satisfactory amount of pirates, and one of Jackie's most epic stunts. Listen and find out if you can't spell awesome without 'A'.

In this episode, CT and Pax are joined by returning guest William Bruce West and new guest, Vincent from therobotspajamas.com and they talk about deaths of major characters in pop culture. They also talk about some of the deaths that didn't stick. And then, in classic Nerd Lunch fashion, the crew each kill off a major character themselves. Goodbye Santa Claus, Captain America, Michael Knight and Harry Potter!
